Happy New Year! As we bid farewell to 2023 and welcome in 2024, it may be perfect timing for tenants to rethink their lifestyles and living spaces. It is never too late to start a bucket list. And starting one at the beginning of the year can give you more motivation. Some ideas would include: traveling to a new destination, beginning a fitness challenge, spending quality time with your loved ones, and taking on a do it yourself (DIY) project. Remember, a bucket list is personal so feel free to tailor any of these ideas to align with your desires and aspirations for the year ahead.

Considering Renter's Insurance?

Renter's insurance covers a tenant's personal property against perils such as fire, theft, and vandalism. It tends to be significantly less expensive than homeowners' insurance policies, making it quite affordable. Different levels of Renter's Insurance are offered by most insurance companies. State Farm, Progressive, and Travelers are just a few that offer Renters' Insurance.

Important Announcements: 

  • A copy of the most current "Banned from all Properties" listing will be provided with a copy of each quarterly Newsletter.
  • If you know of anyone in need of housing, ask them to stop by the office and submit their application. They will also need to submit copies of all birth certificates, social security cards, picture I.D.s (18 years of age and older), and proof of income. Submitting the completed credit check, criminal background and landlord verification forms are also part of the housing application process. Southwood Village applications can also be picked up at the office. No applications will be processed without all required documentation/forms.
